Horse Friend
This service is helpful when a horse would benefit from extra attention and support, especially during periods of transition or increased demand (travel, illness, recovery, schedule changes, etc.).
Our gentle, horse-led approach also makes these sessions valuable as regular opportunities for relaxation, connection, and nervous system balance.
Long-term Horse Friends receive tailored sessions that may include observation, handling, breath work, low-impact groundwork, and short rides when appropriate.
Available in person in the Marquette area. Sessions are occasionally available in the Detroit and Chicago areas, please inquire.
Introductory Rate (2026):
$35 per visit, per horse

This program is designed for horses who would benefit from slowing down and returning to foundational work without the immediate pressure of riding goals or performance expectations.
Sessions focus on rebuilding relaxation, responsiveness, confidence, and comfort through careful handling, groundwork, nervous system regulation, and gradual reintroduction of foundational skills at the horse’s pace.
Depending on the horse, work may include support around handling, saddling routines, mounting block confidence, response to aids, body awareness, and low-impact movement exercises.
The goal is not quick results, but helping the horse feel more settled, responsive, and supported before returning to regular work.
Reset is offered as a 12-session package focused entirely on the horse. Partnership-based work with the rider may follow separately if desired.

Horse–Human Services
Partnership Package
This 12-session program combines reflection, horse-centered observation, and practical work together under saddle and on the ground.
Sessions rotate through:

A conversation focused on goals, patterns, and how you want to show up for your horse and partnership.

A one-on-one session with your horse, using approaches that may include observation, groundwork, bodywork, handling, and riding when appropriate.

An integrated lesson with you and your horse that brings the previous sessions together into practical work.
This program is designed to support both horse and rider through a slower, more attentive approach to partnership.
