How you can support The Sanctuary School

Help Honor the Horses that Teach Us

All donations to The Sanctuary School,

a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, are tax-deductible. 

Fly spray suitable for the Upper Pennisula and other items are always needed

Fundraising Goal: $10K

We’re raising $10,000 to support our first sanctuary horse.

​​​There are always horses that need homes, and we want to be ready to take in the right one to serve as the primary teacher of the Sanctuary School.

 

This horse will first and foremost be promised sanctuary for their lifetime, but they also will serve the role of continued education for the board members of the Sanctuary School. We are eager to learn all we can, through both daily interactions and working with other trainers in lessons and clinics.

Looking Ahead: Trailer Needed

​We are in search of a safe 2-horse straight-load horse trailer with living quarters, fixer-upper welcome!
​​​​

This set-up, once finished, will allow us to:

  • Live on-site during extended care visits​

  • Bring horses to/from our residency stays

  • Work with program horses on trailer loading and hauling
